Program Summary: AFS Savings Club for Fundraisers and Merchants.
The AFS Savings Club is a unique fundraising program for schools, marching bands, sports teams, clubs and religious organizations throughout the United States. In this program, local organizations distribute AFS Savings Club discount cards to their members. Members and supporters of fundraising organization simply use their discount cards, supporting their local merchants, who in turn support the fundraising organizations with a small percentage of the retail sales as donations.
The AFS Savings Club website enable each member of the AFS Savings Club to shop at participating local merchants near their homes. AFS Savings Club cards are distibuted to all the fundraisers in a town or city, which are then presented to local merchants and are swiped in the merchants' card terminals, which can be provided by AFS Savings Club, creating a transaction report on all sales and discounts made by members. Every merchant gets their own webpage with pictures and description of services or products offered, links to their own websites and maps showing how to get to their location.
Merchants pay the fundraiser donations based upon the transaction report they receive detailing all the purchases that were made by the families and supporters of the participating non-profit organizations.
